WELCOME TO QUEEN CITY COLLEGE!
Seize your future, start your training for a career in the Beauty Industry TODAY!
Queen City College, in conjunction with MICHA National and ICON Beauty Systems, is offering On-Location-Learning to select cities.
Provided that minimum class sizes are met, we will offer an Educator to bring our classes to your location. Each module has a class time, component, home study component and a practicum component.
ABOUT QUEEN CITY COLLEGE!
Queen City College specializes in Module-driven learning. Our goal is to give everyone access to professional training that rewards their efforts with a Certificate of professional competency for every successfully completed module accompanied by an 80% course average.
Our trainers are professionals in the Beauty and Wellness Industries. That experience brings strategies, professionalism and enthusiasm to the classroom.
Our Module driven program allows students to work toward individual course certificates or a complete Esthetic's Program as their finances and schedules allow - without the need for large student loans or the time commitment necessary to be a full-time student. QCC Students can easily continue working while preparing for a career in the Beauty Industry.
Each module requires you to complete practicum hours before receiving your Certificate. Practicum hours are in addition to your in-class hours. This ensures that you have a high-level of competency in each service.
MODULES MAKE LEARNING FLEXIBLE
Learn through our Module-driven educational course line-up with hands on training and practical experience to give you the training and confidence to enter a professional environment.
Each Module has three components: Classroom Study, Home Study and Practicum Hours where you practice what you've learned. Each component varies in length.
CERTIFICATES
Certificates are earned for each module. You will earn your certificate with an 80% grade and the successful completion of your Practicum hours.
NO BIG LOANS NECESSARY
No big student loans. Our Module-based-programs allow you to work toward individual course certificates as your finances and schedule allow.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
The completion of individual courses allow you to perform specific disciplines in a number of employment environments. An 80% grade will earn you your course certificate; the practical experience provides skills and confidence to enter into these various fields of employment or self employment.
REMOTE AND ON-LOCATION LEARNING
Queen City College offers on-location learning in areas that individuals may not have easy access to such opportunities. Or, perhaps where an Esthetic's program isn't offered at the local college or vocational center.
If there is enough interest in more remote areas of Canada and minimum class sizes are reached, Queen City College - in conjunction with MICHA National and ICON Beauty Systems - will provide skilled trainers to your area for those course modules of interest in your community.
CONTINUOUS EDUCATION
Our partnerships can arrange for training in your area on a monthly basis. Pre-scheduled modules that meet minimum class sizes will be brought to you by one of our qualified industry educators one week per month. This allows for continued support and mentorship for past students as well as an ongoing supply chain for the products, consumables and services being offered. Provided that minimum class sizes are met, on-location continuous education is possible.

- Those working with elderly or disabled clients who wish to provide essential service such as foot/nail care, massage and personal care.
- Care workers that need to be able to identify problems before they become health risks.
- Those required to provide essential client information to health care professionals.

- Care workers that want the employment 'edge.'
- Adult children charged with their elderly parent's care as they age.
- Those who wish to learn how to properly care for their own body
